Spongebob Squarepants, Patrick Star and Squidward Tentacles

This diorama features three of the main characters from the Spongebob Squarepants cartoon: Patrick Starfish, Squidward Tentacles and the sponge himself, Spongebob Squarepants. The idea was that each design would highlight the personality of each of the three characters: SpongeBob's cheerful enthusiasm, Patrick's simple and dumb personality, and Squidward's disenchantment with life.

Part of this idea is reflected in the construction techniques used for each character. Patrick is built quite simply, Squidward uses complex techniques for the head and gets simpler as he goes down, and Spongebob is built straight upside down.
