Sam & Max

Look out punks, it's the freelance police!

It's everyone's favorite crass, wisecracking, hardboiled, DeSoto driving, canine and lagomorph, crimefighting duo. Sam & Max started their pop culture life as a comic and then quickly got their own video game, T.V. series, and then a whole series of video games.

I was inspired to make this set after my older kids fell in love with Sam & Max after introducing them to their original point and click adventure. They then consumed the T.V. show and are working their way through the newer games too. The unofficial third for Sam & Max is their ever-present 1960 DeSoto Adventurer which is the main part of this build, in all its chrome and finned glory. I did my best on the minifigures, and would love to see them with proper molds and prints. Some day I will learn how to design those parts myself, but today isn't that day.
