Art Attack (1990-)
Art Attack was a unique, high-quality children’s program that inspired children everywhere to be creative. It showcased art, craft, drawing, sculpture, dance and more, with instructions to make your own art. The set depicts host Neil in his studio of famously giant art and craft materials, and is mainly based on the first season in 1990, when he made art on a big eraser on a giant blue splat.
Why I built it
I have a lot of respect and gratitude for the show for providing exceptional educational content with kindness, fun and talent. Like the show, I hope the set inspires others to create.
Why it would make a great set
A show that is fun, educational and inspires creativity perfectly aligns with LEGO’s values. Dubbed for international audiences, the show has an wide appeal for builders young and old, who are often also artistic. The set would also suit new builders who simply enjoy building replicas. The studded plates, though connected, can be rearranged, as can the art materials.
