The Sandlot: Legends Never Die
"Heroes get remembered, but legends never die." Relive Benny "the Jet" Rodriguez's legendary journey as he's chased through town by the Beast! This set features six mini-builds:
- Mr. Mertle's fence and doghouse for Hercules (The Beast). Part of the fence hinges to let the Beast in!
- A 1960 Chrysler Saratoga and red bike.
- A movie theater showing The Wolf Man. The screen hinges open as the Beast tears through it!
- The Founder's Day picnic. The enormous cake sits on a platter--when the stilt man knocks it over, it splits open and splatters icing and cake!
- The town pool, hinged diving board, and Wendy Peffercorn's lifeguard tower.
- The Sandlot field itself!
The set also includes six minifigures: Smalls, Benny, Kenny, Squints, Ham, and Mr. Mertle. Mix-and-match with included accessories to recreate other scenes. Finally, the set includes Hercules the dog, who fits inside his doghouse, can hold an autographed baseball in his mouth, and has poseable legs (and tongue!).
