Forrest Gump

When thinking about iconic and unforgettable moments from 90's media, the first thought that comes to mind is Forrest Gump. So, why not submit a model based on the 1994 film? Haha. For this LEGO IDEAS entry, I built the notorious bench/bus stop that is featured throughout the movie. Included in this set is the man himself, Forrest Gump, who is accompanied by the feather, his briefcase, and of course...a box of chocolates. Fun stuff. You may also notice the quote printed on the 2x6 tile, which was in fact a necessity, considering how well known the line is. Moving to the backside of the model, I designed a "memory lane" section that showcases key parts of Forrest's life. From playing football, to going to war, participating in ping pong tournaments, to catching shrimp, even a hat and long beard are included so Forrest can run a few laps.
