Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1990 TV Series)
Based on the films, this animated series aired on Fox Kids in 1990.
The plot revolves around the angry (not mad) scientist Dr. Putrid T. Gangreen and his associates Igor Smith and Zoltan's Gang of Six, using tomatoes to take over the world. However his plans are foiled by a young Chad Finletter, and his friends Tara Boumdeay (a human/tomato hybrid) and F.T. (a "Fuzzy Tomato" pretending to be a dog). They are also accompanied by Chad's uncle Wilbur Finletter; a veteran of the Great Tomato War, who runs a pizzeria that is 100% tomato-free. Now if only he got rid of that dumb parachute.

- The Finletter's Pizza sign, that contains a hidden feature that when activated causes the sign to tip over and flatten any tomato unlucky enough to be under it.
