Forrest Gump: "Mama Said Life Is Like a Box of Chocolates. You Never Know What You're Gonna Get."

When I think about Iconic movies from the 90s, one of the first things that comes to mind is "Forrest Gump". With it's unique storytelling, intriguing character in Forrest Gump, and his life during important events in American history, the movie exceeded many expectations. Though the movie does have many iconic scenes, I feel that the most Iconic in my opinion is when he drops his legendary line, "Mama said life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."

My goal was to package the iconic scene in a display worthy build. I tried to make the best representation of the park that appears in the movie, which is Chipewwa Square, located in Savannah, Georgia. The build includes the emblematic bench along with a stop sign and a brick representation of a Southern Live Oak. In addition to the park, I have included some of the most iconic objects from the movie, such as the box of chocolate, Forrest's Bubba Gump hat, and his table tennis racket.
