The Yule Ball

I have chosen to build one of the most memorable Christmas moments in the Harry Potter series, The Yule Ball. It is a memorable scene from the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I decided to build both the inside and the outside, and I filled both with fun details like ice sculptures, a star on the Christmas tree and the clock. The exterior depicts a snow-covered great hall, as this is where the Yule Ball takes place. I put many details outside, such as the snow on the roof, the clock, opening doors, and beautiful stained-glass windows. The interior depicts the Yule Ball itself, with tables, ice sculptures, a Christmas tree, and even a place for the Weird Sisters to play their instruments. My build uses over 1,800 pieces, many of them in the sloping snow on the roof and the smooth icy floor inside.
