The Slug Club Christmas party

On the eve of the 20th of December 1996, while the snow was falling over Hogwarts, The Slug Club gathered for professor Slughorn's Christmas party; The event took place in Slughorn's (suspiciously large) office, decorated for the occasion with ceiling and walls draped with emerald, crimson and gold hangings, as well as glowing golden lanterns - and, to Hermione Granger's regret, a mistletoe floating in the corner, awaiting unsuspecting couples. The party provided both plenty of delicious food, live music, and interesting conversation, though Harry Potter didn't stay as long as he maybe should have, as he had other things on his mind. Let's hope Slughorn's other guests enjoyed their evening!

This is a fun little holiday scene from both book and movie, so I've drawn on inspiration from both - I would love to be able to build this scene for real some day!
