The Polyjuice Potion

Christmas in their second year, and Harry, Ron and Hermione are bending the rules a little (so nothing new, then). Hermione sits in Moaning Myrtle’s bathroom, adding some finishing touches to the near complete polyjuice potion, whilst Harry and Ron bewitch two cupcakes to float right into the eyeline of Crabbe and Goyle. A suit of armour is getting into the Christmas spirit with a leg of turkey in its hand, and Myrtle has flushed herself down the toilet (again!). There has been a light spell of snow that rests on the roof, candles light the corridors, and Hedwig sits on the turret.

I had a lot of fun making this and experimenting with different techniques to add to the unique style of Hogwarts architecture. I especially enjoyed building the miniature stained glass windows, and a section of the iconic bathroom sink (really the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets).
