The FLL Space Trophy

Motivation

This Trophy was designed to show all the fun, the play, the joy, the power of friendship and the pride of learning First Lego League represents for all of us.

FLL Theme

The trophy puts this year's theme into focus - Into Orbit. As space science requires very high level of detail, with extreme precision in an ever expanding and moving universe always taking constraints into account such as space, money, time the base includes gearing that moves enables the proud winners to rotate the trophy top and the flames on the bottom.
This is accomplished by Z20s, foming a gear box inside the rocket. Additionally there is another gearing representing the Life Support System being vital on any space missions.

Space exploration even from the early days always included the search for intelligent life - golden record/pioneer plaque. The trophy contains some some hidden clues and challenges to be explored in connection with FLL.

Family fun

This is a family entry of my two (10, 13) kids and mine.
