FIRST Atom Trophy

My trophy design is inspired by an atom.

The nucleus is made from a large technic gear, and the 'electrons' circling it are key items representing science and technology - a telescope, a microscope, a space shuttle, and the LEGO EV3 robot.

The base is circular and intended to look like a large gear. There is a 7cm square area for mounting the FIRST plaque, which is at approximately 35 degrees so it will be able to be read easily when viewing the trophy. The post connecting the 'atom' to the base is intended to have minimal visibility from the front to give the impression the 'atom' is floating above the base.

I added a few reflective pieces, too, because trophies should be shiny and reflect light to draw attention.  More reflective components would be a good improvement, had time permitted.
