On the Shoulders of Giants
Two collossal minifigs hold up the world.
The title is taken from the famous Isaac Newton quote on humanity's advances in science and discovery.
Boring technical details:
- The two minifigs are from standard bricks (the legs use block #6032 used in both the Hydro and Mystic Mountain sets).
- All sides of the Earth have their studs facing outwards.
- The 8x8 blue baseplates used on the planet are 2 4x8s connected underneath with a 4x4.
- The base of the trophy measures 24x4 studs which fits on a 26x14 stud plate.
- This leaves space in front for a 9x9 stud (7cmx7cm rounded up) metal plate. Additionally there is enough room between the frontmost legs to include the metal plate.
- I'm aware that the planet isn't on their shoulders.
