Gothic Gardens

Centuries ago these gardens were a grand spectacle of beauty and wealth. Ripe with visitors, there to enjoy the peaceful surrounds and mingle with elite Society.

As the years passed, this place was left behind. Abandoned to a time long ago. Victim to neglect and disrepair. Walls surrendering to time, crumbling under the crawling Ivy. Clinging to its sides.

Now all avoid these lands. Whispers of the ancient Wisteria tree flourish. It is said that beneath its eerie beauty, lies a sentient heart, devouring the memories of ghostly visitors from times gone by.

Locals tell tales of the feeling of unease dripping over their skin, as they tiptoed over the cobblestones, overrun with sprawling pumpkin vines. The stone fountain, though just as ancient, sits perfectly intact. As though a sinister force preserves it. Sometimes the sounds of tinkling water rushing can be heard, along with a creeping sensation of someone. Or something, watching all who see its beauty.
