The House Where Nobody Lives

At the edge of the woods where the shadows mingle and the fog never clears, stands an old abandoned house. A dark and gloomy site with a distinct smell of mould and an air of mystique.

Some say say that it was once a prominent hunting lodge with an owlery close by, too. Yet others believe it was the estate of a rich but eccentric man who had it build in the early 1800s in a failed attempt to woo a woman and that he was seldomly seen thereafter and later died without heirs.

Either way the house has been abandoned long ago and nobody lives there anymore - or do they?

Something must be going on in and around that house. Cause every time somebody stumbles across that forlorn corner of the world they return with stories of flickering lights, smoking chimneys and moving shadows.

Some are convinced that the house itself is alive - windows staring, walls grimacing and the trees like ghosts reaching, sneaking up on you - who knows...
