Eldritch Castle

You stand shivering on the unevenly cobbled stone path moss & mould slippery beneath your trainers. Ornate wrought iron railings entrap you within their threshold casting twisted black shadows in the weak moonlight. Jeering orange pumpkins bestrew the grounds their grotesque faces contorted & deformed. Bright glowing eyes following your every move. Methodically placed tombstones loom over freshly dug graves. Disturbed brown mud contrasting starkly against the lush green grass. The castle hunches threateningly before you its vast mass commanding your full perception. Glaring grey gargoyles perch from spiked turrets their gnarly outstretched wings beating at the frigid air

Undulating crenelations sit regally atop the sturdy walls. Mirroring the crown that had once proudly adorned the head of the castles mighty king. 

I created a custom Photoshop background putting a neon colour filter on the castle & scaling it up. The light & swirling effects were created by dodge, burn & smudge tool.
