Zero Gravity

The space exploration is certainly one of the greatest examples of the use of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

My design shows a spacemen squad building a space station in zero gravity. While some are busy completing the (blue) structure of the building, others are already assembling the (grey) elements that will make the station habitable.

The positioning of the minifigs and the use of tensegrity are designed to recreate the effect of weightlessness. The crossing of the different elements makes the structure very solid and the use of 4 wires to link the 2 parts makes the whole thing very stable.

This set requires between 250 and 500 pieces, depending on the detail required. The set shown here has 450.
