3D Printer
This is a model of a 3D printer with several interchangeable prints: a XYZ cube, a dinosaur, and an octopus The bed moves along the x axis and the arm moves along the z axis while the extruder moves along the y axis.
This is my 1st submission, my 1st time using Bricklink Studio, my 1st time ever creating a custom LEGO design. All of that is why I chose a 3D printer for the STEM challenge. It embodies the spirit of STEM for me because like my desire to enter this challenge led to learning many more things. My desire to 3D print cool things led me to learn materials science, computer programing, structural engineering, CAD, microcontrollers, soldering, and so many other things. The desire to learn leads to the desire to make and the desire to make leads to the desire to learn.
