Micro World
"I think there is a world market for maybe five computers."
Thomas J. Watson, former CEO of IBM, 1943
The first commercially available microprocessor, made in 1971, was the Intel 4004.
This changed everything. He set the path for today's world.
Now we can communicate, work, play... with all people around the world.
There are four major inventions that have their origins in the CPU:
1. The Internet is used a lot in Science.
Hopefully, many more people will have it soon!
2. Smartphones stand for Technology.
It changed our way of communicating.
3. Robots representing Engineering.
They are already among us. ;-)
4. Personal computers pushed Math
to a new level.
The earth rotates, the robot moves, and the CPU has a working fan.
I used real bricks and rebuilt it in Studio 2.0 afterwards.
Model size is 19,8 x 8,3 x 13,4 cm / 7.8 x 3.3 x 5.3" and i used 350 bricks.
The background picture I made myself for a more futuristic atmosphere.
