Roman Aqueduct Diorama

Romans have constructed arch supported aqueducts over a period of 500 years: from the times of the Republic up until the end of the Empire. They allowed cities to grow by constantly providing fresh water to the Roman citizens.

They were unparalleled feats of engineering for the time and they still stand today in the southern regions of Europe. Such was their importance that they were protected by law.

The diorama depicts Roman aqueduct and the life around it: a small stall with votive offerings for the gods and a small roadside shrine shaded by an olive tree. The minifigs include three Roman soldiers and a civilian vendor.

The challenge offer contains 586 pieces in total.
