DNA Connects Them All

I am really interested in DNA, genes and the way they work and impact on cells.

Because we know very little about it.
And at the same time it is the basis of life.

Cells divide to spread DNA, which regulates all processes in them. All living creatures have DNA and its genetic code is the same for all living creatures (as a rule).

The process of copying a DNA chain is so simple and brilliant that I decided to make a model of it.
You can see a pentose with a red oxygen atom. It is connected to some nitrogenous base (adenine, thymine, guanine or cytosine). It is also connected to a purple phosphate group which forms a blue phosphodiester bond with two pentoses. You should just follow a base-pairing rule and remember about antiparallel strands.

DNA has connected people from all areas of STEM. In search for answers biologists, chemists, physicists, engineers, mathematicians with the help of technology found out about the existence of DNA and still continue to study its principles.
