Commercial Harbour
Hi everyone, this is my entry for this challenge.
Lifting and transport activities in a commercial harbour are very concrete applications of the laws of physics. In order to prove it, I decided to design a microscale harbour with a moored boat.
The model contains several details linked to the activity of the harbour :
- Cranes
- Boat
- Railways
- Platforms
- Tanks
- Containers
- Silos
- Hangars
- Lift trucks
- Camions and tank camion
To be more linked to the STEM theme, the hook of the yellow crane can move with a translation movement along the axles and the hook of the blue crane can move by a rotationnel movement around the turntable plate.
The model is built contains about 900 parts.
