Green Dragon Inn

I created a set that my younger self would have loved not only as a centre piece for my D&D campaigns, but also a great addition to any medieval themed village or city. The goal with this build was to pay homage to D&D and its story telling through its 50 years and how well it melds with Lego as a story telling and adventure tool important to my youth. I had a great time sharing my passion and play testing this set with my kids. The little trap doors and hidden passages were not only fun for them to find, it also sparked memories of quests where trying to search and find secrets in campaigns brought me joy. I also tried to have this set tell a story. The Red Dragon a nod to the 1st edition is here to claim the site where many years ago a Green Dragon, whom the Inn was named after was felled by the Dragon-lance. The Core classes of 3rd, who base their adventures here must defend it. Within the walls are many Easter eggs and nods not only to the history of D&D, but also to Lego. Quack.
