Classic AD&D Player's Handbook Book Nook

This loving LEGO recreation of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook cover reproduces the iconic art by D. A. Trampier. A group of hardy adventurers comes upon a horned idol with enormous gems for eyes. While the bulk of the party discusses their recent victory and plans where to go next, two dwarf rogues try to pry one of the gems from its socket. What could possibly go wrong?

Designed to serve as an attention-grabber alongside your favorite fantasy novels, this book nook takes a truly old-school approach to building in keeping with its 70's inspiration. Six minifigures represent the D&D characters on the original cover—three fighters and a wizard, and those two rogues who just can't resist the temptation. (The lizardfolk victim can be removed if this detail is considered too lurid for younger builders.) This build features LEDs to illuminate the idol's eyes and the torches, but these can be replaced with standard LEGO Powered Up Lights and connected to a Powered Up Hub.
