LEGO and D&D: Build, Learn, Play, Create
We are family of 5, with lots of love for LEGO and D&D. This is our first design and because of time restraints the example lacks the details/finish we would like, but look past that and let me paint you a picture:
It is not easy getting into D&D since there isn't a real tutorial. You need to know someone who already knows the game to show you, especially for young players. This can be handled with the right LEGO set (Set + story + rule book + tutorial). The set could introduce D&D to a whole new set of players.
The same set can also be used for experienced players to play a pre-written story. They can even expand on this by using LEGO they already have or by using the predefined set pieces in new ways or have different stories in them: official or custom written. It would also allow exiting players to use the set pieces to spice up their known stories and bring them into the world of LEGO.
Each 'spot' is a 3 x 3. Minifigures are 2 x 2 & can be player build.
