Modular D&D Map With Grid Lines

This model can function as a display to recreate a moment from a D&D adventure. Additionally multiple bases can be connected to create a functional D&D battle map.
The black tiles between the 4x4 terrain tiles make keeping track of spacing easy and help to separate it from other Lego product lines. A square base with 25 terrain tiles is less than 500 pieces. As such the set could be sold with lots of terrain options.

The terrain tiles are smooth and therefore compatible with actual D&D minis. Cheese wedges can be used to signify areas of disadvantage while still allowing a fig to be placed on top. These tiles combined with rock, walls and trees allow the DM to quickly make a dynamic battlefield.
The terrain tiles are two plates thick. Creating new tiles is easy and requires minimal part usage.

As a product line multiple versions could be created. Sets could be themed to region like; Forest, Dungeon, Snow and Dessert. Doing this rewards buying multiple sets to combine them.
