D&d Red Box!!
What's better than the legendary "red box" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons?
The 1983 Basic Set edition, with the famous cover art by Larry Elmore, has become a real icon of the role-playing game; it is the symbol of D&D for all those who, like me, have started their fantasy journey with this this box!
This Moc is an evolution of the iconic picture, giving the third dimension to the mythical duel depicted. Some compromise on the scale of the subjects was necessary, of course, but I tried to maintain the epic effect of the clash while fitting the size of the original box.
For this Moc, I used 1479 pieces. For the writings, I chose the stickers, rather than bricks to maintain, the “iconicity” of the logo itself.
