The Dungeon Chest Quest!
The meeting of the two Behemoths of play that are Lego and D&D has set my mind in a creative whirlwind taking up every available surface in the flat to lay out bricks and books much to the dismay of my wife but to the delight of my kids.
It started with a routine visit to the local Lego store with my eldest to partake in the pick a brick ceremony and it was there within the hum and hiss of the shaking of brick filled cups that my vision came... as the shook lego settled so to did I.. it were as if the bricks floated from their honeycomb wall of wonder and formed the perfect lego D&D set in front of me. I had been given my Quest.
As an extremely passionate follower of both of the worlds of brick and role play I wanted my creation to be playable and customizable as these are aspects that both worlds share. My task then was to translate the core D&D books into lego (Players Handbook, DM Guide and Monster Manual) and create a Dungeon to play in that can all sit on the bookshelf. Enjoy!
