The First Job: Tavern and Ruins

The adventurers gather in the local tavern to find their next quest, but hear of disappearances and noises from the cellar. Could this be just the rats, or one of the rumored creatures created by the evil wizard living in the old ruins?

As a massive fan of LEGO and Dungeons and Dragons for many years, I have made this set to represent the many first adventures I have been on and the friends I have made doing so.

One side of the set shows the tavern, as well as its hidden trapdoor entrance to the cellar. In there is one of the most famous D&D creatures ever, the Mimic which will attack any unsurprising adventurer with the press of a button.

On the other side is the old ruins, still home to the Skeleton that once protected it. Great treasures still remain inside, but tread carefully as the Gelatinous Cube hangs in wait, ready to consume its next victim with the flick of a switch.
