The Party Faces Tiamat
If there is going to be a Dungeons and Dragons anniversary set, then it has to have a dragon and it has to be epic! Looking at the other entries, I can see that I am not the only one who feels this way.
In my submission, the party of adventurers are facing Tiamat, the original mother of dragons. The range of colours from each of the chromatic dragons work so well in bright LEGO colours. I have tried to give the body a more organic form than ninjago dragons we have seen. The heads, wings and tail are all posable. Wings are intended to be cloth.
I have put together a party basic on some of the classic characters/classes: a rogue, paladin, sorcerer, half-elf ranger and dwarven fighter. Their designs are based on either existing parts, sone recoloured, or new decals drawing on existing designs.
Really what I'd love to see is a big bag of bodies, heads, armour and weapons so that we could create our own characters, as we would for D&D.
approx 1500 pieces in total, 1300 in the dragon.
