Spires of Ravenloft
"The master of Ravenloft is having guests for dinner - and you are invited"
This is how the cover of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons module Ravenloft introduces us to the iconic Castle Ravenloft and its villainous vampire lord, Count Strahd von Zarovich. From its original module in the game's First Edition all the way to the popular Fifth Edition module Curse of Strahd, the Castle Ravenloft has overseen the land of Barovia, and has spelled doom for many adventuring parties.
Now, I have re-created the Castle Ravenloft using 2954 LEGO parts. My interpretation, based on game maps from the 1e and 5e modules, seeks to bring the Gothic castle to life in a new form, and to preserve as much detail as possible at a micro-scale, from the infamous spires to the intricate chapel. The iconic castle and its spires have spanned all 5 editions of D&D and the haunted setting has inspired myself and many others. I hope my take on the castle can help inspire players to take on Strahd and free Barovia.
