Choosing From the Monstrous Manual
When I think back on my early days planning games for my friends at school, I remember spending hours poring over the lists of monsters and nasties in the Monstrous Manual and chuckling evilly.
“Ankheg or Bulette… bwahahaha”
I would love to see a line of monster kits in minifigure scale that could be collected and built as the situation (read terrifying trap) demands. Here are my paltry attempts to illustrate the idea. You can see a Bulette (or bug) for its terrible armour, an Air Elemental stirring up strife, and a Basilisk ready to ruin the adventurers day. The fight has already begun in the distance.
Please forgive the colour of the basilisk’s feet!
