Dungeons and Dragons 50th Anniversary Tribute
Three friends, 50 years, and a whole lot of imagination. This model features two basements, the one on the left is from 1974, and the one on the right is from 2024. They both depict the same three friends as children, and then as adults. The best part of this design is that the rooms are connected by the D&D world the three friends have created, with the red D&D dragon in the center. The walls and floors of each basement slowly transform from the real world into the incredible world they've imagined all around them.
I wanted this set to be an awesome 50th anniversary tribute, whilst still being a cool model, but the set also serves as a place for people to put their own characters and creations. The current mini figures on the pedestals are apart of the set, but they are just meant to be placeholders.
My personal favorite part of this set is the Poster on the wall for the stage-play 'She Kills Monsters'. It's a fantastic show about D&D's power to bring people together.
