How the Campaign Inevitably Ends...

My son and I had the idea to set about this as a team. I, the long time Dungeons & Dragons fan and he the Master Builder.

Ultimately, we settled on an adventuring party reaching the end of their campaign, where they fight the vile Red Dragon who had masterminded the whole evil plot (as only a dragon can).

The real-life adventure started with a description of the dragon himself, discussing the creature in the source material - how big the claws would be compared to the mini-figs, the tail needed to be longer, and modeling the head. It culminated in a trip (as all adventures must) to the LEGO Store some 2 hours away to pick up more red bricks... whatever they had on hand that day would have to do.

We hope you like the Wizard's use of Shield, the Centaur player (I DM'd a centaur player a few months ago!), and the proverbial Dwarven Cleric and Elven Rogue, and of course the epitome of Dungeons & Dragons monsters, standing on his pile of treasure.

Enjoy!
